Vedika Jawa (she/her) is the Class President. She’s super excited to make this year the BEST for our class 🤑. Originally from California, Vedika’s already having a hard time getting used to the cold weather - and it’s only October 😭. She’s currently living in Hill, and always finds herself in the Hill “study lounge”. If you see her please come say hi - she’s never actually working. In her free time Vedika loves dancing, jigsaw puzzles, and starting a conversation with literally anyone she sees. Juan Lopez (he/him/his) is a freshman in the college currently studying Political Science. He was born and raised in Oakland, California, the place he is currently missing the most right now. Juan is not only the class Executive Vice President, but he also serves in the Undergraduate Assembly as a New Student Representative. Apart from Penn Student Government, Juan rarely enjoys studying and would rather spend his time sleeping or watching Criminal Minds, New Girl, or La Casa De Papel. Juan tends to sing and dance even though he may not be good at it. As the Executive Vice President, Juan hopes to bring the class of 2026 closer with each event. As you may know, Juan has a love for collecting free merch (even though he is not in that specific club or school). Juan plans to make sure the merch given will be the coolest anyone has seen! Michelle Chen (she/her/hers) is a first-year in Wharton studying Marketing and Strategic Management, with a minor in Chinese studies. She is from a small town in North Carolina but is a city girl at heart! Aside from CB, Michelle is part of the Undergraduate Assembly, Student Federal Credit Union, Wharton Undergraduate Entreprenuership Club, and Chinese Student Association. In her free time, Michelle enjoys hanging out with friends, trying new dessert shops, and playing chess. As the VP of External, Michelle hopes to expand Class Board’s outreach and marketing initiatives to create a more inclusive environment for Penn students, and, more specifically, the FGLI population. Jeongmin Lee (he/him/his) is a freshman in the College currently studying Economics and Gender Studies. He was born in South Korea, and although he introduces himself as being from Chicago–he’s actually from the suburbs. Jeongmin serves as the VP of Internal Affairs for the Class Board of 2026. Outside of Class board, Jeongmin is a proud Associate Secretary General in ILMUNC, an associate consultant for GRC Wharton, and a member of the Korean Student Association. Su Ah Kim is from Monterey, CA and is pursuing the Nursing and Healthcare Management dual-degree program. Su Ah serves as the VP of Finance for Class Board 2026. Outside of Class Board, Su Ah is involved with Wharton Women, the Wharton Undergraduate Healthcare Club, the Undergraduate Assembly, and Renewal College Fellowship. Eric Lee (he/him) is a first-year student from New Jersey studying at UPenn, and he is excited to serve as the College Chair! He is majoring in biochemistry, and he hopes to pursue the MD/PhD route, as he is interested in translational research and global health. Hannah Kim (she/her) is from Maryland pursuing a major in chemistry as a pre-med student. She is also hoping to minor in nutrition. Hannah serves as College Chair on Class Board 2026. Aside from Class Board, she is involved in Community School Student Partnerships, SPEC, Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association, KSA, and is currently researching in a lab at Penn. Faraz Rahman aka DJ Faraz serves as the Engineering Chair on Class Board and is a member of the Singh Program in Networked and Social Systems Engineering. With his roots in Troy, Michigan, Faraz is proud to call Hill College House his home for his Freshman Year. Aside from DJing and Student Government, Faraz enjoys his free time exploring the vast array of Food Carts in and around campus. Legend has it that Faraz has not gone more than a day with our Food Cart food since NSO! Akash George is a first-year studying Finance and Management at Wharton, with a minor in Survey Reserach & Data Analytics and is serving as the Wharton Class Chair on Class Board. Janine Navalta (she/her/hers) is a first-year in the College majoring in design. She is from San Francisco, California, and is not prepared for the East Coast winters. Janine serves as one of the Creative Directors, focusing on the graphic design and photography aspects of the Class Board’s content. She is also a member of Penn Philippine Association, Quest Scholars, and Penn Art Club.
